So my performance for this Indian dance group is in about two weeks. Im so excited! Even though theres been loads of drama its been loads of fun. I love that nervous slash excited feeling you get right before you dance on stage. I fastforward through all the moves while creeping through the curtain. As I hear the cue, my feet move across the stage to my beginning position. I take a big breath right before I look up to the audience and know that im ready. The music begins and I feel as though nothing can touch me when im up here. Even though you’re watching me, I feel empowered with your attention. as the performance gets over, my legs start feeling funny and I get a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of joy.
